Anshaj Tours & Travels was founded in 2016 on Airport Road, Pulikkal — a few minutes from Calicut International Airport — to give travellers in Kerala and the GCC one dependable place for every part of their journey.

We plan holidays and handle the practical side of travel — tickets, transport, stays and paperwork — for families, students, couples, businesses and Malayali families in the Gulf.

Our story

From Doha and Kochi to Calicut.

Our story began long before our name. In 2006, our managing director Shajith Thambara started his career in travel with Al Fares Travels and NIB Associates — helping travellers in Qatar and Kochi with tickets, visas and journeys home.

Ten years later, he brought that experience home. In March 2016, Anshaj Tours & Travels opened its doors at KPMH Complex on Airport Road, Pulikkal. Today we serve clients across Kerala and the GCC from our branches in Calicut and Kochi — still with the same simple promise: honest advice and personal care.

The journey begins

Shajith Thambara joins the travel industry with Al Fares Travels and NIB Associates, serving travellers in Qatar and Kochi.

NIB Associates opens

Another milestone on the road to Anshaj — the NIB Associates office opening, celebrated with friends and well-wishers.

Our office opens at KPMH Complex, Airport Road, Pulikkal — near Calicut International Airport — with a grand inauguration and music night.

When I started in this industry in 2006, I quickly learned that travel is never just a ticket or a booking. It is a family's savings, a student's first trip, a worker's new beginning in the Gulf, a couple's first journey together.

In 2016 we brought that experience home and founded Anshaj Tours & Travels near Calicut International Airport. Our promise has stayed the same ever since: honest advice, clear pricing, and a team that answers when you call — before, during and after your journey.
